Snatch Guard Developer: Oleg Mamiev Effective date: May 2026
Snatch Guard is a personal device protection app. All processing happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
None.
The app requests “Always” location access solely to keep background protection active. Your location is never transmitted or shared with anyone. When a snatch event is detected, the device’s current coordinates are temporarily saved in the event log so you can see where the incident occurred. This data exists only in the app’s memory and is cleared when the app is restarted. It is never sent to any server. The app does not know or care where you are — it only uses the location permission to stay running in the background.
Accelerometer readings are processed in real-time to detect sudden movements consistent with phone snatching. These readings are never stored or transmitted. They exist only in memory for the instant they are evaluated.
When you select apps to protect, the system provides opaque app tokens via Apple’s FamilyControls framework. These tokens are stored on your device only so the app remembers your selection between launches. They are never transmitted or shared.
None. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind.
None. The app contains no ads and no advertising SDKs.
We do not share any data with third parties, data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else. There is no data to share.
The app does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since the app collects no data from anyone, there is nothing specific to children that requires additional protection.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published in the app’s repository and the effective date will be updated.
